Minute Movies - Part 4

The problem with a color comic that is set primarily on the moon and inside a silver rocket is that there's just not much color! The moon is gray, and silver has no color of its own. That's one reason why I gave the kids bright orange space suits. Personally I think orange or brown are the perfect space suit color in reality. Imagine how monochromatic the page would be if they had WHITE suits!

New to page 4 is the fact that I actually inked it rather than simply cleaned up the pencil lines. I'm not sure if Minute Movies will stay inked forever, but for the moment it's useful. Black ink stands out from the cyan screened pencil rough so that I can cleanly remove the sketchy lines in the computer. However, I like the speed and look of the pencil pages, so we'll just have to see.

I also did a couple background gradients in Photoshop, which is the only reason why this page is in "digital Art" rather than "traditional art."
